Hope everyone enjoyed Christmas and New Year, I ate way too much chocolate and cake. Looking back over the past year of 2022 and thinking about the goals I set myself, the main goal was to make a start on creating colouring pages for my first colouring book which I knew would take me awhile to work on as I wasn't quite sure on the theme for the book and needed some inspiration. Whilst I was clearing out some stuff, I found an old book about sealife that I had forgotten about and from reading about the many different sea creatures and plants that reside underwater I became inspired. I brought a new sketchbook and made my own pencil sketches of some underwater species I wanted to include in my book, I then did some research online and from books to learn more about this chosen subject. Another goal I had was to set up a page to accept art commissions, which you can find all the info on this website. Not only am I reflecting back over the past year but also thinking about the present and what goals I would like to achieve for this year (2023), of course I would like to finish my colouring book (about 65% of pages are complete) and hopefully publish it sometime this year, also I'm planning to make for sale some original artwork and maybe some prints we shall see how this year pans out.

For Personal goals I would like to try yoga to help improve flexibility and strength which may help my weak knees, the only exercise I do is going for long walks, although I didn't do much walking last year so that should be another goal on my to do list more long walks through the woods, park, beach etc within Kent and take lots of photographs for inspiration I look forward to it, especially when the weather becomes warmer and brighter. I would also like to improve my cake decorating skills as I love baking cakes.
